Dr. Giulia Venditti

About

Dr. Giulia Venditti is a SNSF postdoctoral researcher at the University of Geneva.

Her research activity revolves around superconductivity, exploring several aspects connected to the Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless (BKT) universality class of the transition, the presence of disorder, topological superconductivity, vortices and Majorana zero modes (MZMs), as well as unconventional pairing mechanisms.

Her work relies on the combination of analytical (Bogoliubov–de Gennes equations, quantum and statistical field theory, diagrammatic techniques, lattice models) and computational (Monte Carlo simulations, Random Resistor/Impedance Networks, Density Functional Theory, Density Functional Perturbation Theory) methods, with a taste for phenomenological modeling of real systems.
